Guy & Miriam are high school sweethearts, and they’ve known for a long time they were perfect for each other.

Matthew & Belinda tied the knot on on the front lawn of Matthew’s family farm “Morna Downs” located just out of Culverden, and we were so excited to celebrate the day with them. A short 4-Wheel drive trip to the top of the family farm provided a stunning location high above the Waiau River. Their day was shared with friends, family and the most awesome kind of infectious hospitality that you can only find in North Canterbury locals.

Three wedding gowns, exceptional teppanyaki chefs and a beautiful love story – Richard & Sarah’s special day had it all.

From the marquee that was setup in their front garden, to the photos pegged up inside, to the charisma of the wedding guests, and even a brief cameo by Sarah’s grandfather’s first tractor – when Richard married the girl of his dreams, the love they shared was as endless as the style and setting of their beautiful wedding day.

Here is a wedding that I’ve been really excited to share with you all! Lovelight travelled to my (Clinton) hometown of Nelson to photograph and film the wedding of Drew and Sarah and to say we had an amazing time is putting things lightly! I already knew Drew and Sarah a bit from a wedding I shot in Warkworth where Drew was the best man for Laird and Katie… a friendship which pre-qualifies them as great people (with excellent choice in friends aye Laird and Katie!) They are both very down to earth, relaxed and genuine people with an awesome sense of humor. This combo is a sure sign that the day is going to be AMAZING!

The Lovelight team split up with Mark shooting the stills of the grooms prep and then their visit to see Drew’s Grandmother who wasn’t going to be able to make it out to the ceremony… such a beautiful series of photos with these two interacting.

Drew and Sarah it was such an honour to be a part of your day, you are such a genuine couple and we’d love you to come visit us in Christchurch anytime… hmmm perhaps a Lovelight trip to Melbourne is warranted. Sarah you looked absolutely stunning, Drew not bad either… and to top it all off we had a great day with your friends and family.
