Set in the idyllic Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo, Bryan & Chloe travelled all the way from the tropical north Queensland of Australia to join their lives together. Chloe is a professional boudoir and wedding photographer, and Bryan is a professional farmer who enjoys fishing. A blustery winters day in the South Island set a romantic and rugged backdrop as these two amazing people joining their lives together.

Here’s what Chloe said :
Awwwww, the video is amazing, we LOVE it guys! Thank you so much! You guys are fantastic at what you do, so professional, easy going and talented!! Watching the video makes me want to go back to New Zealand 🙂

Clay bird shooting, intense off road driving and a few tears. That sums up the incredible wedding of Steve & Holly. We haven’t known these two for very long, but right from the start we knew they were a perfect match for each other.

Holly wears a bracelet with embossed message to her late father, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago. When we knew what it meant to her we made sure we included it in her wedding film as it creates part of the story she shares with Steve.  One of our favourite moments was when Steve looked over at Holly during his reception speech and uttered these words. “You make me feel happier than I could ever be. Holly, I will always love you”

It really was a great day!

Here’s what Holly & Steve had to say :
“You guys were absolutely incredible. Have had so many amazing comments on your awesome same day wedding video. Watching the video was the biggest highlight to our day. We really appreciate all the hard work you guys have done. Thank you so much. Highly recommend to anyone to use you guys for their photography or videography for their wedding. THANK YOU!!”
UPDATE
Because we love to see people’s reaction to having their wedding film play, but we are usually busy with projectors, sound systems or laptops at the time, we usually get one of our team to film the reaction. Check out Holly & Steve’s reaction below.

If ever there was an award for the best wedding day surprise, it would go to Marewa, who surprised her groom Davie with a helicopter ride to the peaks above lake Wakatipu. Greeted by the most amazing light, this was a spectacular day, surrounded by the friendliest people and stunning landscapes. Davie & Marewa said “I Do” on the wharf at Jacks Point, Queenstown, and we can’t wait to hear where life will take these two incredible people.

Here’s what Davie & Marewa had to say :
“We LOVE it!! It’s amazing!!!. You’re phenomenal!”

Susan & Glen came all the way from Australia for their wedding (although it was a homecoming for Glen who grew up in nearby Timaru). They chose the beautiful setting of Stonebridge, Geraldine as the backdrop to their day which was a perfect place for a relaxed and genuine celebration of friends and family from near and far. In what is a continuing trend for Lovelight, the bride is a very creative photographer herself which always adds to the fun! We had such a great time throughout the whole day, it was fun working alongside Jimmy and Shona from iZO Photography and hearing more of the story behind the happiness that is Susan and Glen!

Here’s what Suz & Glen had to say about their wedding film:
“Thanks so much for sending this 🙂  just had a look and we love it! We just got back today from Fiji – away for Brendan and Brodie’s wedding/our honeymoon – what a super awesome treat to come back to!” – Suz & Glen

Set in the gorgeous surrounds of North Canterbury, Chris & Beth got hitched in front of family and friends at Iron Ridge Quarry, just out of Amberley. Beth looked stunning in her gorgous Elizabeth Wenborn wedding gown. After they said “I Do”, we took a short 4wd trip to Claremont estate – a stunning gorge and spectacular landscape! Our fearless bride Beth hitched her dress up charged into the water. Her wedding sandals made the perfect footwear to get her ankles wet and allowed us to get some great images. At the end of the day Beth & Chris danced the night away with the magic of Puree.
