The Sheffield district holds much significance to Simon and his family, who for generations have farmed and set down roots here – so it made perfect sense that Sheffield village was the perfect place to host the wedding celebration of Sophie & Simon. Food was sourced locally as family and friends gathered in the town hall as the celebration became an extension of what we call home.

When New Zealand went into lockdown, we weren’t sure if this wedding was going to take place, however we bounced back to level 1 and for the Lovelight team, Rob & Katey’s wedding was a celebration to remember. Featuring one of the best bands in the South Island, and one of the biggest fireworks display Tai Tapu has ever seen, and a wedding planner that ensured everything was on time.
