When Woody looked over at his wife during his reception speech and said “You are the Peppercorn sauce to my T-Bone steak” it confirmed what we already knew – that this was no ordinary wedding day. From the way Jess and her bridesmaids danced up the aisle to the way they laid flowers together as a family on the grave of their family dog, this wedding was very special. Here’s our same day edit we worked on throughout the day and showed at the reception…

Here’s what Jess & Woody had to say about their same day edit
“Hi Craig
I cant thank you and your team enough for the incredible job you did at our wedding! You are all so personable and fun, and you added another fantastic dimension to our day, everyone is raving about the two craig’s (you and the vicar!)

The same day edit blew our minds – we never expected anything like that, the music was so perfect for it and even though we have watched it over and over and over we still get goose bumps and “well up” when we see it. If that’s what you can produce in a few hours, we cant wait to see the whole DVD.

You worked so well with Joe as well, it was just easy.
Thanks so much, your amazing!

Jess and Woody x”

“Sebacey” – it’s a cute name given by friends to a cute couple… just like “Brangelina” or “Bennifer”. And when they got married they got cuter… and more sentimental… Like how Stacey wore her mum’s wedding dress, or how Seb started to choke up during the wedding vows, or how their family took a wedding day helicopter ride. Well, that last bit might be more “exciting” than sentimental. Here is “Sebacey’s wedding day”

Julian & Malia were married at the woolshed at Tipapa in a spectacular outdoor wedding in beautiful spring sunshine. This wedding was shot and edited on the same day, and played at their reception.

The song “Stay” was written by the groom for his bride before they started going out, so it has a special significance for this day.

Now first up I’m not taking credit for these incredible invites but for those of you that know me, you may know I have a little obsession/fetish for beautiful typography, thick textured card stock, brown paper wrapping, craft twine and creative presentation… So when I received the invites from a September wedding I just had to photograph them for you to see.

Yep that’s right, textured paper stock and invites printed ONTO wood….. oh yeah oh yeah! A nice ampersand pin holds it all together.

Detail of the wood and paper texture.

So exciting to unwrap the next layer!

Julian and Malia we are so excited to be shooting your day in September… not many more sleeps now! You are two incredibly creative people and your invites reflect that beautifully!

Joanna & Patrick’s love story started in London, where what initially was a ‘funny look’ while making coffee and photocopying at work progressed in to a beautiful wedding at Otahuna Lodge in Tai Tapu, Canterbury, New Zealand. We were honoured to meet Joanna and Patrick and share their unforgettable wedding day with their family and friends.
